Making your teeth whiter does not have to be an expensive luxury only fordable to the wealthy, anyone can get great results at home from teeth whitening kits sold online. People who use teeth whitening kits at home often get different results, the difference between good results and great results is often directly related to the ability to stick to a new dental routine and staying away from foods and drinks which stain your teeth.

A recent study by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) revealed that people who have much whiter teeth are perceived to be much smarter than their duller-toothed counterparts!

The study which was carried out in the States over the internet, aimed to uncover what impact much whiter teeth has on the perceptions of an individual's appearance and personality, and used ‘before and after' pictures of people who had used teeth whitening products.

None of the people who participated saw the same person with both a ‘before' and ‘after' using the teeth whitening products but each one of the participants did see the same set of eight people.

After seeing each of the pictures, the participants were then asked to rate each person on the following :

• How attractive they are

• Are they intelligent

• do they look happy

• are they successful in their career

• do they look friendly

• are they Interesting

• do you think they are a Kind person

• are they wealthy

• would they be considered popular with the opposite sex

The participants would use a scale of 1 to 10 with a ‘1' representing ‘not at all' and a ‘10' meaning ‘extremely.'

The results clearly showed that having much whiter teeth does have a major effect on how people will judge you on all important attributes.

In each of the cases, people were viewed as much more attractive, clever, happy, successful in their career, friendly, interesting, kind, wealthy and popular with the opposite sex. With a smile that shows much whiter teeth, you can be sure that you will be looked upon in the same way.
